The short answer

Ashford Wide Drum Carder is a drum carder from Ashford.

It suits batts from a drum, with a crank or a motor.

These are stages of what you might want to make, not a ranking. Each step is a different kind of project, and every one is a good place to be.

Step 1
A little at a time
Small amounts of fiber, prepared by hand.
Step 2
Blending by hand
Blended colors and fibers on a board, a batt at a time.
Step 3
Whole batts
Batts from a drum, with a crank or a motor.
This one. Drum carders.
